I just don't know how the so-called spell-checker, for lack of a more accurate term, can miss this correction. Short phrases like "just I", and "can you" and sometimes 3 or 4 words get combined in a nonsensical way. In fact, it can even on some occasions insert them anywhere on a line, even if there is no italic text. ![]() Often with a 2-line caption that has only the first line italic, it will put an extra or somewhere on the second line. When it comes to italic text, just hold your breath. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it's a bloody mess of letters, numbers and or symbols. The lower case L often gets inserted as a slash ( / ) in the middle of a word or name. (displayed in CC as )can convert into a dozen different 'words', such as " 5.] ] " or the number 3 with some gibberish etc. ![]() Now, it can take almost as long to correct the errors as the show is long. I recently started using it again, and I unfortunately installed an update. A few minor errors that was easily corrected. I installed SubtitleEdit over a year ago. ![]()
